BountyShift

How much, when, and on what

The fee is fixed per accepted job. It is written on the job, it does not change after delivery, and it does not move with the number of bugs you find.

How payment works

Fixed per job

The amount on the job. Running 24 cases and finding two bugs pays the same as running them and finding none — because what we pay for is the work, not the catch.

On acceptance

The fee enters the payment queue when the client accepts the report. The acceptance window is on the job and is rarely more than two working days.

Paid weekly

Your balance is paid out weekly. The schedule and the detail are on the payment page.

No cut

We take no commission from testers. The platform fee is paid by the company sending the work.

Start at level 1

You start at level 1. Level 2 opens after your first five accepted jobs.

What BountyShift is

BountyShift is a marketplace for software testing work. Companies send their new builds here to be tested, and the work is done entirely remotely — from home, on your own computer or phone. There are five kinds of job: website, mobile app, desktop software, embedded device and game testing. Every job's fee is known before you take it and is fixed; it does not change with how many faults you find, and a job where you find nothing is still paid. Payments run weekly, and no commission is taken from testers.
