Rejections and disputes
A rejected report cannot come without a reason. If you dispute it, the argument runs on the run record rather than on what either side remembers.
Which reasons hold
A company rejecting has to write why, and the reason has to attach to a case. The following are valid grounds; a rejection outside them is likely to be overturned on dispute.
- Some cases were not run — the record shows it
- Evidence is missing: steps but no screenshot or log
- Reproduction steps are too vague for anyone else to repeat
- The required environment was not used — the agent recorded a different build
How a dispute runs
The record opens
It opens identically to both sides. Nobody submits their own copy; there is one record.
We decide
And we write the reasoning to both of you. The decision rests on what the record shows, not on either side's account.
The outcome
If it goes your way the fee is released and your acceptance rate is untouched. If it does not, the reasoning goes on your record — a single case does not drop your level.
Timing
You have seven days to dispute a rejected report, and we settle disputes within three working days. The job does not occupy a slot while that runs, so you keep taking new work.
Look at the proof flow
Knowing what the record contains is what makes it easy to get the job right the first time.
