What this page covers
It lists everything this site writes to your browser, why each item is there and how long it stays. We set nothing that is not named below.
NEXT_LOCALE — your language
Set when you choose Turkish or English, and it decides which language the site opens in next time. It holds a language code and nothing that identifies you. It expires on its own after a year.
bs-scheme — your theme
Set when you pick light or dark by hand, and kept in your browser's local storage. It is not a cookie: it is never sent to the server and stays on your own device. Leaving the theme on the system default writes nothing at all.
Nothing else is set
No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics, no social media tags. Every file the site needs — typefaces included — is served from our own domain, so opening a page sends no request to another company.
Why there is no consent banner
Both items above are needed for the site to work and do nothing beyond remembering a choice you made. Records of that kind do not require separate consent. If we ever add one that does, we will ask before setting it.
How to clear them
Clearing site data in your browser settings removes both. Block the language cookie and the site follows your browser's language instead; clear the theme record and it follows your device's light and dark setting. Neither stops you using the site.
Changes
If what we set ever changes, this page is updated before the change goes live and the date at the foot of it is refreshed.
